In order to be able to prepare the PHPP2007, the following information is needed:
Site plan with orientation of the building, also showing neighbouring buildings (positions and heights), as well as trees, hedges, and other objects which cause shading. The shading situation needs to be shown clearly (digital photos of the site will help, too). If possible, give accurate address, so it can also be looked up on internet maps.
Floor plans, elevations, sections (1:50 or 1:100, with measurements) – preferably in .dwg format (.pdf also possible)
Details of window installation, floor plate, roof & ceiling attachments and other possible thermal bridges (e.g. balcony attachment). Point out air tightness layer.
Specifications of walls, ground floor (if applicable: basement walls) and roof composition with the materials (thickness and R-values) being used. There are two different R-values, the theoretical (more common) value and the actual (measured) installation value. FOR THE PHPP, THE LESS FAVOURABLE (ACTUAL) VALUE IS BEING USED.
Window schedule; if non-certified models are being used, give frame sizes, Ug and Uf values, g-value (two decimals) and Psi-values of the spacer and installation are needed. Include shading facilities (if applicable).
MVHR details: Efficiency and consumption (if non-certified models are being used, information on how the data has been gained needs to be provided, too), position, ducting (dimensions and insulation being used) and information on GHX (Ground Heat Exchanger) – if used*). If possible, also include volume flow data at the inlets and outlets.
Heating & DHW details: Boilers, heat pumps, stoves, cylinders, thermal stores, radiators, heat exchangers and/or distribution, (circulation) pumps, piping plus insulation, frost protection (e.g. heat register before MVHR air intake) etc...
If used - details of solar thermal system: Type as well as sizes/dimensions of collectors and store (some cylinders have a dedicated part used for the solar system); heat loss of store/cylinder
If special energy efficient appliances are being used, please give details (might help improve PE value)
Number of occupants (if not given, a standard occupation will be used)
Climate Data (if no standard set is being used)
If present, pressure test results
In some cases, further details might be required.
*) For air-based GHX, length, depth, type of ground/soil, pipe material and dimensions and heat gain coefficient (e.g. with ”PHLuft” – SHS can also offer this service); for brine-based versions, the type of control, border temperatures winter/summer and the heat gain coefficient is needed
